## **Creative Collectives: HBRT & KIVE**

**February 4th, 2025**

Creative Collectives are something that we at BSPOKE/LA have been toying with where we highlight artful minds that will be using our space to host their event. Soon we will be sharing our location with HBRT as well as KIVE. Two distinctive artistic events from different paths wanting to share their talents and bring the community together. And to be honest we’ve been craving this.

If you’re in search of connection, art, or just needing to get away for an evening don’t hesitate to join in.

**HBRT**

Pronounced “Hobart”, comes from a community of creatives around the United States all currently living in Los Angeles. Together they reside at The Hobart House where art is the driving force.

Their first groundbreaking event will be hosted on _Saturday February 8, 2025_ \- HBRT THE SHOWCASE. The showcase will feature visual art, live performances, distinctive photography, animation screenings while taking advantage of the cultural hub space at BSPOKE/LA.

Whether you’re into physical art, feeling moved by a new song, or just looking to network for the evening we promise you’ll find fulfillment from experiencing the showcase.

**KIVE STUDIO**

KIVE is an LA based community that is reinvigorating third spaces by bringing the focus back to personal connection; whether it be in person _or_ online.

Historically people live their life in 3 spaces; Home, Work, and Social. The rise of social media has created a shift from _Social_ being in person to online. KIVE is interweaving the two by pushing for online connections to be moved from the screen to face to face.

With 8 events under their belt and a 9th on the way they are clearly defining who they are in this modern age. Each event is specifically curated to the time and place and more importantly the need of what is around them. They’re able to tap into what the community is craving, whether the community realizes it at all.

That’s the magic of KIVE.

Kive’s first event, BIRTHDAY, “Birthday is the genesis of our Kive community, where the focus was on authentic connection and face-to-face interaction. With house music, chess, and games, this event laid the groundwork for Kive's mission to create spaces where creativity and human connection thrive together.

Events conceptualized from nature, to concious consumption in fashion and sports, their initative is about learning more about yourself and connecting authentically with strangers offline. Utilizing smells, nature, clothing, art, people and new ideas with a central point of bringing like-minded creatives together. KIVE doesn’t show any sign of slowing down.

Their next event will be hosted on Sunday March 2, 2025 at BSPOKE/LA.
